Protein-enriched Strawberry – Mango Smoothie
When time is a luxury or you’re struggling with the routine of always thinking of something tasty, quick and nutritious to make, you’ll find the solution here. We recommend using cricket flour in your smoothies every day – the protein will give you more energy, strengthen your body and make you feel invigorated.
INGREDIENTS (2 servings):
- 100 g frozen strawberries;
- 140 g fresh strawberries;
- 100 g fresh mangoes;
- 160 ml orange juice;
- 6-8 fresh basil leaves;
- 20 g crickets flour.
PREPARATION:
The strawberries can be fresh or frozen, depending on the season or your preference, or mixed as in this recipe. Puree all the ingredients with an electric blender until smooth. The mangoes can be replaced by avocados if you wish.
There is a wide variety of flavours in cocktails or smoothies. When making them, keep nutrition in mind. Adding 1-2 tablespoons of cricket flour will add at least 5 grams of protein to the smoothie.
